The Carrare Laboratory was created in 1946 by Solange LE HIR to propose products inspired by the works on Alexis CARREL's dietetics, Nobel prize of Medicine. At the time already, the report was simple: if the industrialization of the food sector allows to offer more products cheaper, it also contributes to the qualitative impoverishment of our common food. Colouring agents, emulsifiers constitute so many products which mistreat the indispensable vitamins, the minerals, the oligo-elements and the amino acids contained in our food. The first product elaborated by Carrare is LYOPHILEVURE, 1st lyophilized brewer's yeast and revivable. LYOPHILEVURE is at present the uncontested leader of revivable yeasts.
